Newport International Group's Spare Backup Inc. Subsidiary Signs Partnership Agreement With TNTtel, Inc. To Launch Spare Backup Services in Italy and Other European Markets

PALM DESERT, Calif., Aug. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Newport International Group (BULLETIN BOARD: NWPO) announced today that its Spare Backup Inc. subsidiary has signed a new channel partner for the company's fully-automated online backup service. TNTtel Inc. will initiate Spare Backup's introduction into Italy and the European market's.

In a continuation of its partnership strategy for worldwide distribution of its online backup for small businesses and home office users, Spare Backup Inc. signed this agreement with TNTtel Inc., a US company with extensive experience in localization of web based products and services for the European marketswith local partners in every country.

The Spare Backup service, which TNTtel Inc. will offer as a value-added service to its customers, runs by itself entirely, with no user interaction after sign-up. Between Spare Backup's proprietary software and the service element that takes advantage of the user's broadband Internet connection, files are automatically recognized, saved, compressed and secured remotely via fully encrypted transfer.

The Spare Backup Solution

Spare is a fully-automated remote backup solution. It starts by scanning a user's hard drive, including the desktop and email programs, for files and their important components. Then it transports the data, including new and revised files, daily to twin data centers on both US coasts. Files are triple-encrypted and users can access them from any broadband, Web-connected computer anywhere.

The Spare service is available via the company's Web site (http://www.sparebackup.com/), through its reseller network and, as recently announced, will soon be available at CompUSA.
