VASCO Awards Computrad for its Integration at BetClic

January 26, 2011

OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. and ZURICH, Jan. 26, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — VASCO Data Security International, Inc. (Nasdaq: VDSI), (www.vasco.com), a leading software security company specializing in strong authentication products, announces that Computrad has been awarded for the integration of VASCO’s IDENTIKEY Enterprise and DIGIPASS technologies at the renowned betting website BetClic. The awarding ceremony takes place at the ICE expo (January 25 till January 27 at Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London (booth 5375)).

BetClic is an online gambling website that offers poker and casino games and online bets for sporting events across the world. It deployed VASCO’s IDENTIKEY Enterprise internally for 500 users.

“Flexibility, customized branding, ease of integration and understanding of the eGaming business were the most important merits,” says Sargon Petros, IT operations and Infrastructure Manager at BetClic, who is elated about the VASCO solution. “Partnering with VASCO was a logical choice, as they are the best of breed in terms of flexibility allowing us customized branding and offering ease of integration with our eGaming software platforms. However we needed to ensure we also partnered with an integrator who understood our eGaming operation’s business requirements. After extensive research we discovered that there was only one network integrator who was fully entrenched in the eGaming market. Computrad have an understanding of what the critical success factors are for technology implementation within eGaming. Computrad’s solution helped us with increasing the revenue per player and decreasing the churn rate of our VIP players. In essence their way of implementing the VASCO solution is increasing our profitability.”

“By awarding Computrad, we want to express our recognition for its services rendered. The online gaming and betting sector has been increasingly scrutinized by hackers during the last years, so the need for security in this market has grown. We are very pleased that the noted company BetClic has faith in our authentication services,” says Jan Valcke, VASCO’s President and COO.
