IQM2, Inc. has enhanced their RSS feeds to give citizens empowerment over topics that they are interested in, it will also make it easier for organizations to keep up to date on important information.

IQM2, Inc, the leading provider of Open Meeting Software and Legislative process solutions announced today they have enhanced their Citizen RSS Feeds (Really Simple Syndication) utility to empower governments, school districts and public agencies to deliver information to their citizens in a more efficient, timely and proactive fashion.

Citizens are now able to follow RSS Feed topics they are interested in; meeting calendars with agendas, minutes and webcasts can be followed and filtered by board or committee of interest. Also, notices can be followed by the type of notice ““ for example, Notice to Bidders for vendors, Public Hearings for newspapers, Adoption of Laws for State Agencies and more. One of the neat enhancements is once the organization publishes an update in the IQM2 software the citizen or stakeholder will be automatically updated via the RSS Feed. Another use would be for School Districts to drive information to citizens regarding up to the minute information regarding schools closings. These enhancements now make it even easier for organizations to communicate easily, inexpensively and effectively with their constituents and stakeholders.
