Magazines.com Names Amy Fisher Executive Director of Publisher Relations

Amy Fisher has been named Magazines.com Executive Director of Publisher Relations, Magazines.com CEO and President Jay Clarke announced today.

“Amy has spent more than two decades working in the magazine industry. She possesses unique insight into how publishers leverage their relationships with agents and how agents can help publishers meet their goals,” Clarke said. “Magazines.com had a record year in 2010, and adding Amy to our team will help us to continue to accelerate our growth in 2011 and beyond.”

Most recently Fisher served as Executive Director of Agency Marketing and Operations at Time, Inc. Fisher managed the agent relationships for 21 Time Inc. magazines as well as two American Express Publishing titles. Notably, under Fisher’s leadership her team was responsible for the largest source of Time Inc.’s subscription volume.

Previously Fisher held publisher relations positions at enews.com and USApubs. Prior to these positions Fisher served at Time Inc. in Agency Marketing and was responsible for agent circulation modeling and budget forecasting.

Fisher will continue to hold the position of President of the XYZ Club, the magazine publishing industry’s networking organization.
