Sabra Gets Fans Ready for the Big Game

February 3, 2011

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., Feb. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — Sabra Dipping Company, the country’s leading hummus manufacturer, kicked off the football festivities with a Game Day Guide. Hundreds of Sabra fans from around the country submitted their favorite recipes, drink ideas, and half time entertainment suggestions for a chance to be featured in the Game Day Guide which will be shared across the nation. One lucky Facebook fan will receive a dinner for four prepared in their home by a Sabra Chef.

The Sabra Game Day Guide features more than two-dozen entertaining ideas ranging from recipes such as New Orleans BBQ Shrimp to Chocolate Dipped Peanut Butter Cookies, and offers some of Sabra’s game day favorites from Chef Colombe Jacobson like Hummus Deviled Eggs.

“Hummus sales soar during football season as consumers reach for tasty and healthy treats. While hummus is perfect as a dip for fresh vegetables, fans are now using their favorite flavors in recipes and entertaining ideas. We were thrilled with the creative and delicious recipes we received and enjoyed sampling the ideas while picking the best for our Game Day Guide,” said Mina Penna, Brand Manager for Sabra.

The Game Day guide on Facebook gathered fan favorites for 2 weeks before a panel selected the best of the best for the Guide, made available online at www.facebook.com/Sabra.
