ParaDocs Motion Support, Inc. (Paradocs), a leading service provider to AMLAW’s Top 100 law firms, recently produced a 3,500 page hyperlinked electronic brief (eBrief) with over 70,000 hyperlinks to its supporting authorities and exhibits in less than 4 days. This unusually large eBrief was prepared for a top 10 law firm in an Intellectual Property dispute. ParaDocs’ closest competitor would typically take approximately 20 or more days to produce an eBrief of similar size.

This eBrief was produced concurrently with several other ongoing projects. ParaDocs routinely produces eBriefs in less than 24 hours for documents up to 150 pages. Along with its hyperlinked electronic brief service, ParaDocs offers a variety of other services including trial presentation, graphics design, PowerPoint presentations, medical illustrations, and deposition summaries. ParaDocs can also synchronize up to 40 hours of video testimony to its corresponding transcript in less than a day. The final synchronized file can be produced in any legal document management format.

The eBriefs are the most efficient method of submitting motions to the Courts. These eBriefs can be submitted in both federal and state courts, and contain all case law, exhibits, demonstratives, rulings, statutes and even video clips of cited materials. In paper filings, these supporting documents could often fill a file cabinet drawer. With an eBrief, these supporting documents are all stored on CD-R, DVD-R or a flash drive, and can be viewed on any computer.

PARADOCS INTRODUCES eBRIEFS ON AN iPAD

ParaDocs is proud to introduce eBriefs on an iPad. ParaDocs is one of the first litigation support services companies to create an iPad compatible, hyperlinked electronic brief. Currently, these eBriefs are limited to smaller submissions, but they work as seamlessly as the eBriefs produced for desktop computers and laptops. Many of ParaDocs’ clients are now using this compatibility to review case law and statutes. With our iPad compatible case pulls, legal citations can be distributed to team members, thus making them a key collaborative element in any large litigation department. ParaDocs is the only litigation support services vendor to offer this service.
