Michael Kassan Joins Mochila’s Advisory Board
MediaLink Chairman/CEO to become strategic advisor for leading custom ad solutions and content syndication platform
New York, NY (PRWEB) February 25, 2011
Mochila, a premium content syndication technology platform and network, today announced that renowned business strategist Michael Kassan has joined the company’s advisory board. Kassan is among the most recognized and influential names in the advertising and media industries. In early January, he was named by Advertising Age as one of the industry’s most notable “Influencers.” Prior to founding MediaLink, Kassan was President/Chief Operating Officer and Vice-Chairman of Initiative Media Worldwide.
Kassan will be charged with helping Mochila aggressively grow the advertising revenue of the company’s proprietary technology platform; Mochila delivers and enhances advertising messages within relevant quality content packages that are customizable and trackable. Kassan also will be working closely with Mochila to find new partners for its new “white-label” platform, which features a customized content API that manages articles, photos and video.
“The addition of Michael Kassan to Mochila’s advisory board is part of this year’s strategic goal to add significant scale to our suite of services.” said Benjamin Chen, Chairman and CEO, Mochila. “We are elated that Michael has joined our team as we continue to demonstrate that we are the go-to technology solution for advertisers and media companies.”
In December, Mochila announced another round of funding, which came on the heels of eight straight quarters of growth – an impressive accomplishment given the challenging economic climate.
“I am pleased to join the advisory board of Mochila, whose flexible content solution offerings have been on my radar for some time,” said Kassan. “As publishers and advertisers seek out ways to effectively manage their content and marketing messages, I look forward to delivering Mochila’s solution to them.”
