International CTIA WIRELESS 2011Â® Announces Redesigned and Expanded Executive Forum Topics and Speakers
Power Sessions to Feature Wireless Legend and Renowned Technology Columnist on Mobile Trends and Carrier Futures
WASHINGTON, March 9, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — International CTIA WIRELESS 2011Ã‚® today announced its revamped educational sessions and format. The Executive Forum is redesigned and expanded to create additional value for session attendees. With a focus on more interactive and engaging sessions, the new Executive Forum will deliver actionable intelligence and provide dedicated networking opportunities. International CTIA WIRELESS is March 22 – 24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Pre-conference seminars begin March 21.
The CTIA Executive Forum will feature 30 sessions focused on high-growth sectors and timely issues shaping mobile innovation. Topics include: cloud computing; mobile payments; social networking; mobile search; marketing and advertising; mobile content; location-based services; devices and operating systems; wireless network infrastructure; and retail.
The Executive Forum will also highlight two afternoon “power sessions” featuring dynamic, influential guest moderators and high-level panelists.
- On Tuesday, March 22 at 1:30 p.m. EST, Former Verizon Communications President and COO Denny Strigl will moderate “Carrier Roadmap: The Future of the Network Revealed,” a roundtable discussion with carrier chief technology executives: Bob Azzi, SVP Network, Sprint; John Donovan, CTO, AT&T; Tony Melone, CTO, Verizon Wireless; and Neville Ray, CTO, T-Mobile USA.
- On Wednesday, March 23 at 2:00 p.m. EST, The Wall Street Journal Personal Technology Columnist Walt Mossberg will moderate “Mobile CE: New Trends and Products,” a panel examining future trends with leading mobile consumer electronics manufacturers, including: Jason Mackenzie, President, HTC Americas; Bryan Biniak, VP, Nokia; and Alain Mutricy, SVP Mobile Devices, Motorola.
