NBA Television Scheduled Announced

ABC TV will broadcast 20 regular-season NBA games in 2005-06, two more than last year, it was announced Monday.
In addition, ABC, ESPN and ESPN2 will air a flexible schedule, meaning they can choose to rearrange the schedules if teams to be broadcast are not in playoff contention as the season winds down, Daily Variety reported Monday.
The cable TNT network will carry 52 regular-season games, one less than last season. Forty-eight of those will be Thursday night doubleheaders.
The Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat will have 24 games broadcast each, the most of any NBA teams. The Cleveland Cavaliers and Phoenix Suns will have 23 each; the world-champion San Antonio Spurs are down for 21 and the Houston Rockets have 20 televised games on tap.
However, those numbers could change as the season goes on with the networks now allowed to switch over to playoff contending teams.
