Two and A Half Bubbles in the Air. Sheen and Cryer Far Out-Earned Other TV Celebs in 2010.
View this interactive chart crafted by Juice Analytics to see how far Sheen and Cryer could fall if the sitcom is mothballed permanently. Where do other celebrities rank? What is your favorite celebrity getting paid per episode?
Atlanta, Georgia (PRWEB) March 17, 2011
With “Two and a Half Men” all but canceled, everyone has questions. What will happen to the show and its actors? What will Charlie Sheen say or do next? Who will take their places as the highest paid celebrities on television?
In response to a challenge issued by FlowingData, Juice Analytics, a data visualization company based in Reston, Virginia, developed this interactive chart featuring 2010 annual income data released by TV Guide.
“When we break the chart out by “Ëœseasons on air,’ it is clear that as a show ages, the actor’s ability to capture more value increases. Presumably the risk of the show failing declines, and the actor’s bargaining power improves,” said Chris Gemignani, co-founder and head of Advanced Technologies at Juice Analytics.
This interactive chart provides information about “Ëœone and a half’ other men, as well as other top-earning celebrities viewers may have neglected while distracted by their favorite sitcom.
Perhaps viewers will settle on a new FTC (favorite television celebrity) and that star will emerge as a winner to take their spot atop the earnings chart in 2011.
Stranger things have happened.
