AirTran Airways Launches 48-Hour Sale for Travel to/From Baltimore

ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. , today launched a sale for flights to/from Baltimore/Washington with fares starting as low as $39 one way. Travelers may purchase these sale fares at http://www.airtran.com/ or via AirTran Airways' reservations system at 1-800-AIR-TRAN. For Spanish, call 1-877-581-9842.

These special fares are available for purchase from now until August 10, 2005, are good for travel through December 20, 2005, and are not valid for travel on Fridays or Sundays. Like all AirTran Airways fares, prices included in this sale are available for one-way travel and do not require a roundtrip purchase or a Saturday night stay.

Following is a sample of the one-way fares. Fares listed require a seven- day advance purchase and are valid in either direction to/from Baltimore/Washington (BWI):
