Michael Rudnick is the ERM/Enterprise Portal Leader at Watson Wyatt. Having developed the first "intranet for Xerox in 1994, long before the term was coined, Michael is an industry pioneer.

Michael brings over 20 years of experience in technology and communications,

providing ERM (employee relation ship management), employee portal and Webenablement (or "e-tizing") services including strategy, content management, governance, architecture, product integration and implementation, site maintenance and end-user communications for many global enterprises.

Michael's experience includes:

Leading enterprise-wide portal initiatives for clients including Apple Computer, BellSouth, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Coca-Cola, Con Edison, Corning, IBM, Intel, NCR Corp., Pitney-Bowes, Vivendi Seagram), Sprint and Sprint PCS, The McGraw-Hill Companies and Xerox. Developing an enterprise portal integration plan for the merger of two major Canadian telecommunications companies. Leading an enterprise portal separation project for the divestiture of a major UK telecom. Pioneering the use of life event-based architectures; for human resource and shared services applications for Apple Computer, BellSouth Cellular and Pitney-Bowes and in the mid-1990's.

Michael is an internationally recognized speaker, having chaired conferences and workshops across the U.S. and Canada, Brazil, Singapore, Britain and Malaysia.

Michael earned his BA at Ithaca College. He serves on the Boards of the Council of

Communication Management, Virtual Business (formerly Intranet Communicator) Internal Communications Focus, and LABCS International Executive Board from 1996-2000.
