Newport International Group's Spare Backup Inc. Signs Reseller Agreement With AOS Web-Com, Inc.

Newport International Group (OTCBB:NWPO) announced today that its Spare Backup Inc. subsidiary has signed a new channel partner for the company's fully-automated online backup service.
An emerging player in online backup for small businesses and home office users, Spare Backup Inc. signed the agreement with AOS Web-Com, Inc., a New York-New Jersey based Computer Services Company specializing in computer and printer sales and service with a strong presence among businesses in the NY-NJ area.
The Spare Backup service, which AOS Web-Com, Inc. will offer as a value-added service to its customers at http://www.aosweb.com, runs by itself entirely, with no user interaction after sign-up. Between Spare Backup's proprietary software and the service element that takes advantage of the user's broadband Internet connection, files are automatically recognized, saved, compressed and secured remotely.
"Spare Backup will protect our customer's valuable data in the event of a system crash. In the NY/NJ Metro area, we're seeing the power companies dropping voltage on a regular basis. We're seeing more and more systems crashing from voltage load reductions. We're recommending Spare Backup to all our customers. No more broken tapes, lost cartridges, or employee errors. With the average cost of $1,000.00 to repair or restore a damaged hard drive, Spare Backup offers inexpensive piece of mind for corporate and residential customers," says Scott Neuman, President of AOS Web-Com, Inc.
The Spare Backup Solution
Spare is a fully-automated remote backup solution. It starts by scanning a user's hard drive, including the desktop and email programs, for files and their important components. Then it transports the data, including new and revised files, daily to twin data centers on both US coasts. Files are triple-encrypted and users can access them from any broadband, Web-connected computer anywhere.
"Many SOHO businesses have their important data stored in laptops and PCs that are not backed up regularly, if at all," said Michelle Zou, Research Analyst at IDC. "One reason is that the traditional backup to removable media involves manual operations, it is not convenient and easy, which brings human error. In addition, data recovery is time consuming. Spare Backup Inc.'s online data back up and recovery service automates the backup process, and restores files in seconds by a few mouse clicks."
Spare Backup service costs $15.99 per month, including 5 gigabytes of online storage, and is available for a 14 day free trial at www.sparebackup.com, as well as from its reseller channel.
