Oblate Missionary Society Inc. Signs with DonorDirect

April 26, 2011

DonorDirect will be the sole software provider for the Oblate Missionary Society Inc. They will be using DonorStudio, DirectToCRM, and StudioOnline software from DonorDirect.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) April 25, 2011

DonorDirect, the leading provider of donor management software solutions for mid-to large-sized ministries, announced that they are partnering with the Oblate Missionary Society, Inc. (OMSI), an international Catholic organization that serves the poor and needy. They will be using DonorStudio, DirectToCRM, and StudioOnline software from DonorDirect.

Ken Amerson, Chair of the OMSI Donor Database Implementation Coordination Team, said, “OMSI utilizes a broad array of features in its ministry and fundraising activities. DonorDirect’s planned installation meets a significant number of them, integrates with a variety of third-party products and avoids significant customizations.”

OMSI will be using DonorDirect to consolidate all donor data into one central location inside of DonorStudio. DonorStudio provides the basic ministry activities, such as transaction entry, reporting and analysis, and segmentation, that are imperative to OMSI. The segmentation tool will allow OMSI staff to create and modify groups they want to communicate with for direct mail appeals without the need to rely on custom programming.

DirectToCRM will allow OMSI’s donor development team to communicate specifically with their donors through activities such as email, follow-up tasks, phone calls, appointments and much more. These activities will provide OMSI the opportunity to build lasting and meaningful relationships with their donors. The direct integration between DirectToCRM and Microsoft Outlook allows them to work in an environment that is familiar to their team.

“DonorDirect’s team provides tremendous depth and experience for OMSI’s needs and installation efforts as well as demonstrates the flexibility to meet our developing needs over the next 10 years,” stated Joe Pytlinski, OMSI Controller.

OMSI will use StudioOnline to give constituents the opportunity to donate to various missions, receive religious products or sign up to receive online offerings. With simple navigation tools and easy checkout, StudioOnline makes it easy and safe for people to handle transactions online. With StudioOnline, donors also have the ability to update their contact information, sign up for email newsletters and see all past transactions. This tool will be a powerful benchmark for OMSI moving forward with their online donations presence.

The DonorDirect product suite will provide OMSI a multichannel platform to communicate and interact with their constituents.

“We are excited about our partnership with OMSI and seeing our software meet the needs of this fine ministry,” said Frank Smith, CEO of DonorDirect.
