Get Ready to Rumble! Tickets for Tasting Table’s 2011 Lobster Roll Rumble on Sale Now
NEW YORK, May 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — TastingTable.com, the country’s fastest-growing digital epicurean publication, is thrilled to announce that tickets are now on sale for the 2011 Lobster Roll Rumble. Taking place June 9 at Center 548 in New York City, the Rumble will see 17 of the country’s best rolls vie for the title of “TT Fan Favorite.” The event will benefit Share Our Strength, the national nonprofit dedicated to ending childhood hunger in America.
Competing restaurants include: B&G Oysters, BLT Fish, Ditch Plains, Ed’s Chowder House, GT Fish & Oyster, Hank’s Oyster Bar, The Lamb’s Club, Lobsta Truck, Luke’s Lobster, Lure Fishbar, Mary’s Fish Camp, The Mermaid Inn, Nettie’s Crab Shack, Old Port Lobster Shack, Red Hook Lobster Pound, Shaw’s Crab House and Jasper White’s Summer Shack.
Rumble attendees will try each roll and cast their vote while cooling down with Hendrick’s Gin summer cocktails, Stella Artois beers, Blufeld Riesling, San Pellegrino water and Maine Root sodas. Savory sides from Brooklyn Brine and Deep River Snacks will lend some crunch to the festivities.
On the rooftop Dessert Deck, guests will enjoy signature sweets from 10 of New York’s best dessert purveyors: First Prize Pies, Grandaisy Bakery, La Newyorkina, Robicelli’s, Steve’s Authentic Key Lime Pies, SweeteryNYC, The Treats Truck, Vive la Crepe, Wafels & Dinges and Wooly’s Ice House.
