Study Clarifies Promotional Value of Logo Golf Balls as Business Gifts

The study conducted by Klein Consulting reveals that the promotional value of the packaging far outweighs a simple logo on the ball.

When imprinted logo golf balls are combined with a package that promotes the customer paying for the promotion, much more return on investment becomes possible.

“What we found is that a carefully crafted package design creates interest in the customer and when the design is created with a valuable reason to either save the package or call the gift giver, the promotional value becomes real. The study was conducted over a 6 month time frame using purchasers of generic packaged logo golf balls and custom packaged logo golf balls. ” I can’t believe the difference” says Frank Pillarella, owner of Preferred Auto Body in Orange California. Preferred had purchased logo golf balls from a retail golf shop. “They just went out, no response or thank you or anything. Once we created our custom package, we were able to show off our capabilities and photos of our work. What we didn’t realize is how our staff took pride in the package and this alone made a much more effective marketing tool.”
