New Venue for Dallas/Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association

The Dallas/Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association (http://www.dfwsem.org) will welcome guest speaker Jack Dearnbarger to their new meeting location, The Grand Hotel in Dallas, Texas. Dearnbarger is the Senior Director of Account Services for the Dallas-based creative agency Blockdot (http://www.blockdot.com) where he oversees online branding campaigns using Advergaming and other branded entertainment strategies. Dallas/Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association (DFWSEM) members and guests alike are invited to hear Dearnbarger speak about how businesses can create a "buzz" online while gaining links by using various viral marketing strategies.
In Dearnbarger's experiences with Advergaming - branded online games usually seen on corporate websites - viral marketing practices can benefit a business or website on many levels. They can create a "buzz" surrounding a brand or website and as a result, increase the amount of links directed to a particular site. This can provide a great boost to any search engine marketing campaign or the search engine rankings for a particular website.
