May 25, 2011

CHICAGO, May 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — OpenMake Software, the build authority, announced today that Meister received the Code Project Members Choice Award in the category of “Best Agile Development Tool.” This is the third consecutive year that OpenMake Software has received a Code Project Member’s Choice award. OpenMake Mojo received the award in the Application Lifecycle Management category (ALM) in both 2009 and 2010. This complements our 2009 Jolt Award for best Change & Configuration Management product and Software Development Times 100 Award.

“In the 2010 release of Meister, we focused heavily on improving support for Agile developers by providing the unique ability to accelerate both Java and .Net builds delivering on their need for 10 minute builds with continuous integration. When complemented by our parallelization and broad environment support, these features make Meister unbeatable,” explains Steve Taylor, CTO, OpenMake Software. “We appreciate that our users who are working in agile environments have recognized these critical new features.”

“The Code Project Members Choice Awards recognize quality and achievement in development tools and components,” said Jeff Hadfield, President, The Code Project. “Products like OpenMake Meister help professional developers accelerate build cycles, increase the velocity of the software development lifecycle, and embrace agile practices. We congratulate OpenMake on their third consecutive award achievement.”

“OpenMake Software appreciates the recognition from the Code Project Members,” stated Tracy Ragan, COO of OpenMake Software. “The Code Project is an excellent venue for mind share and collaboration. Receiving this award from the members is truly and honor. We believe our latest advances with CloudBuilder to automatically provision cloud resources, based on build requirements, will keep us in the running for future awards.”
