MBA Focus, the leader in MBA recruiting management systems and InterviewStream, the premier provider of video interviewing solutions, announced their technology partnership today. MBA Focus will add InterviewStream’s real-time video interviewing technology to its recruiting management system. InterviewStream looks at the partnership as a way to expand its reach into the MBA talent network.

InterviewStream and MBA Focus have each transformed and streamlined MBA recruiting processes through interactive recruiting platforms that connect top MBA school candidates to leading corporations. The partnership gives both companies’ corporate clients 100% web-based video interviewing solutions through a seamless integrated platform.

“Internet-based video communication tools are a critical new way for MBA Focus’ corporate recruiting clients to reach and recruit top MBA school candidates at our 60+ partner schools worldwide. It’s another way for MBA Focus to help the world’s top employers connect with top MBA students and alumni and recruit more efficiently. Our partnership with InterviewStream provides our customers with even more tools to solve their recruiting challenges,” said Jack Gainer, Chief Executive Officer at MBA Focus.

According to a recent report published by the Aberdeen Group, A Harte-Hanks Company, 73% of organizations using video-enabled talent acquisition solutions experienced a decrease in travel-related costs since first using the technology. (Source: Aberdeen Group, Video Enabled Talent Acquisition Takes Center Stage, December, 2010) The use of virtual interviewing is expected to rise along with the use of B2B video collaboration, which some sources say is used in about 35% of todays’ best-in-class hiring companies.

Randy Bitting, CEO of InterviewStream, adds, “this partnership is a great way to connect even more corporations and students using InterviewStream’s powerful video interviewing solutions. We’ve had tremendous response to our pre-recorded and live video management systems and see nothing but long-term growth potential with MBA Focus’ corporate clients and prospects.”

MBA Focus and InterviewStream will launch their new services globally in late July. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
