PopCap Launches Fourth and Final Wave of Its Charity Art Auction

SEATTLE, July 5, 2011 /PRNewswire/ —
Starting at noon PT today, PopCap Games launches
the fourth and final wave in a month-long series
of online art auctions giving consumers a chance
to bid on once-in-a-lifetime items from the
PopCap vault. This final week's auction items
include a Bejeweled 3 ceramic lemonade set, a
Bejeweled 3 introduction screen painting, a Peggle
Bjorn archive, a personalized sketch to be done
post auction with buyer input, a Plants vs.
Zombies street scene concept sketch, a Plants vs.
Zombies zombie jack-in-the-box concept sketch
on canvas, and finally the coup-de-resistance -
a Plants vs. Zombies light box. Starting bids for
WHAT: these items start at $1 (dollar).
PopCap is donating 100 percent of all proceeds from
the auctions to the Starlight Children's
Foundation in the United States and SpecialEffect
in the United Kingdom, two nonprofits dedicated to
helping seriously ill and disabled children.
