ClearOne Names Vice President of Product Management

SALT LAKE CITY, Dec. 2 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ClearOne Communications Inc. , a comprehensive provider of conferencing products and services, today named Zeynep "Zee" Hakimoglu vice president of product management. She is responsible for product development and management, product design and engineering management.

Hakimoglu has more than 15 years senior-level, high-tech management experience, including product development and management, business development and engineering management. She was most recently vice president of product line management for Oplink Communications, a developer and manufacturer of fiber optic components and subsystems. Hakimoglu was also president of OZ Optics USA and has served in various management positions for JDS Uniphase, E-Tek Dynamics, Kaifa Technology, DiCon Fiberoptics and Aydin Corp., a telecommunications equipment company.

Hakimoglu earned a bachelor's degree in physics from California State College, Sonoma, and a master's degree in physics from Drexel University. She is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers.
