[Presenter] In a strange twist of events, the giant Dock Workers Union has threatened to block ships flying the British flag from docking at the Mombasa Port in protest against cancellation of Transport Minister Chris Murungaru's visa to the UK.
The union secretary-general, Kennedy Kiliku, said that unless the UK gave proper reasons for the cancellation, they will defend him [ Murungaru] through industrial action at the Mombasa Port. [Passage omitted].
Thre dock workers are now threatening to join forces with other ports in the world through the International Transport Workers Federation and block British ships until the matter is cleared.
