Sunnyvale, CA (PRWEB) July 22, 2011

Social media agency Avenuesocial, Inc. had a stellar second quarter including building high-profile Facebook applications for Coca-Cola Zero and HSBC Honduras. Coca-Cola Zero’s 2011 Countdown was a promotion celebrating college basketball’s NCAA March Madness featuring a concert by Kings of Leon. Avenuesocial was tapped by the Jake Press Agency to create media buzz, and consumer awareness, of the event by leveraging the power of Facebook. The result: Coca Cola Zero’s Countdown Fan Page. HSBC Honduras asked Avenuesocial to create a Facebook Fan Page to reach current customers and attract new ones.

“Coca Cola is ranked the #1 brand in the world.1 The opportunity to work for Coca Cola meant a great deal to Avenuesocial, Inc. Our team was committed to delivering the best possible application to Coca Cola Zero and we’re quite proud of the resulting Facebook Fan Page,” relates manager, Ryan Khan.

User’s electing to subscribe to Coca-Cola Zero’s 2011 Countdown Facebook Fan Page were able to RSVP for the concert event and get “insider” info on the event’s date, time, venue, and updates about performer’s Kings of Leon. Countdown got an enthusiastic response from Coca-Cola consumers and March Madness fanatics. The Coca-Cola Zero’s 2011 Countdown Facebook Fan Page was an overwhelming success.

“Similarly we deployed our best resources for the HSBC Honduras project. Working with HSBC Honduras was a phenomenal experience from day one. Our close interactions and brainstorming sessions with our developers, designers, and HSBC’s creative team, was a real pleasure for Avenuesocial,” reports Avenuesocial project manager Nida Ehsan.

HSBC Honduras wanted to differentiate itself from some strong local competition with an engaging Facebook Fan Page. Through Clicks Agency, HSBC Honduras contacted Avenuesocial, to create a Fan Page application to increase retention and attract new customers. Avenuesocial created the Spanish-language Mi Team HSBC; a contest application where users gained a chance to win a prize each time they invited their friends to join the Fan Page.

The launch of the Mi Team HSBC Honduras application grew HSBC’s fans from a base of 1000, to a staggering 25,000 fans, in less than 30 days (and still growing).

“We are proud to have worked with HSBC Honduras and our partner Click Agency,” explains Salman Ghaznavi, CEO of Avenuesocial, Inc. “It’s always a pleasure working for companies like Coca-Cola and HSBC Honduras. Social media has enormous opportunities for brand growth. Companies who effectively harness the power of social media leave their competition in the dust.”

Avenuesocial helps countless agencies, businesses and entrepreneurs start and expand their social media presence through custom application development, media buying and campaign management.
