Minnesota Lynx and General Mills Team Up with Sportsdigita to Release the “Lynx Move” Challenge
The WNBA Minnesota Lynx in association with General Mills work with Sportsdigita to activate a youth oriented challenge to stay fit in an innovative and interactive manner.

The Minnesota Lynx, in association with General Mills, have teamed up with the sports marketing digital interactive agency, Sportsdigita, to create the “Lynx Move” website and campaign for kids to stay active through a series of weekly challenges. The WNBA recently featured the online program as one of the league’s newest innovative programs.
The challenge is meant to effectively increase awareness of staying fit and eating healthy to kids ““ an initiative important to both General Mills and the Minnesota Lynx. The YMCA will be distributing pedometers to 5,000 kids to participate in six weeks worth of challenges, measuring their steps and giving them the chance to attend a Lynx game and be recognized on the court at halftime next to Maya Moore. All participants will have the opportunity to create an online profile on http://www.lynxmove.com where they can post photos of their healthy food intake, videos of their fitness activities and track their progress on the weekly leader board.
The Lynx Move challenge was conceptualized by the Lynx and General Mills, who worked with Sportsdigita in order to design the marketing campaign and build out the engaging and interactive site.
