New York, NY (PRWEB) August 08, 2011

On Tuesday, August 9th, Parent eSource will host a live webinar presented by Pandora Corp. The topic is Internet safety and the price is free.

Parent eSource provides resources for parents and t(w)eens alike in an effort to help parents and adolescents bridge the digital divide and demystify the online social and media outlets,” says Parent eSource founder Amy Kelly. “We want to open communication between caregivers and t(w)eens in a way that they are able to discuss the potential dangers that lurk online, and we feel our friends at Pandora Corp. have a great presentation for parents that we know will do just that.”

“We are thrilled to have this opportunity with our friends at Parent eSource,” says Pandora Corp. co-founder Jamie Leasure. “We’ll be using our own PD Pandora Internet Safety Symposium for the presentation. We’re going to cover the Internet dangers that parents absolutely need to be aware of, such as predators, cyberbullies and sexting, and we’ll offer concrete solutions for keeping your kids safe when they go online.”

While all parents are invited to attend, Pandora Corp and Parent eSource highly encourage every parent with a teen or “Ëœtween in the house to tune in.

“Internet safety is a topic that every parent needs to pay attention to in the 21st century, but it is especially important for parents that have kids who have started to live a digital lifestyle,” says Leasure. “This is a new age of parenting and new tools and tactics must be used to keep our kids safe online. We’ve got lots of great tips and advice for parents of today’s digital children.”

Says Kelly: “We hope that parents and teens walk away with a better understanding of the risky behaviors that can possibly lead to dangerous outcomes. Also helpful tips that can kick-start a conversation between parent and their kiddos.”

The event is free and starts at 7PM Eastern, but registration is required. A limited number of copies of PC Pandora monitoring software will be raffled off to attendees. Visit http://parentesource.com or http://blog.pcpandora.com for more information.

Pandora Corp. is the maker of PC Pandora monitoring software, which allows parents to have full knowledge of everything their child is doing on the computer. The program records snapshots of all screen content like a DVR for the PC. Parents will also have full access to web histories, messenger chats, social network activity, search queries, peer-to-peer activity, passwords and more. First released in mid 2005, PC Pandora has been constantly upgraded to industry-leading specifications and has received accolades from users, reviewers and even school districts and law enforcement agencies, who use the program to help in the day-to-day supervision of the children and citizens they are charged with protecting.
