Free Flights Thursday on Asiana Airlines
August 16, 2005
Asiana Airlines said Tuesday it would offer free flights for 24 hours to win back customers’ good will following a monthlong strike.
The airline will fly people for free Thursday, Chosun Ilbo reported.
A total of 67 flights including 22 Gimpo-Busan flights and nine Gimpo-Gwangju flights will be free. Jeju flights are exempt. Asiana expects some 11,000 passengers to take advantage of the offer.
The carrier also will offer customers a 30-percent discount on the same routes from Friday to Sunday. Those who have already paid full price can get a refund when collecting their tickets.
