Al-Bayan newspaper quoted data from a report by the High Tech Source Company on the demand for high tech products in Middle East countries during 2004. Most clients of high tech products are aged 25 to 35. The major demand is for mobile telecom products such as cellular telephones and lap top computers. The paper quoted HT Source General Manager Ahmad al-’Azaawi who said in early June 2005 that the demand for HT products in the Gulf States has grown 15% annually, compared to only 10% annually in European countries.
