Google Dominates Search Engines in July

California-based Google Search continued to dominate search engine competitors last month, Nielsen//NetRatings said Wednesday.
Google had 47 percent of the market, up from 46.2 percent a year earlier, while Yahoo! Search claimed second place with 22.3 percent, down from 22.5 a year earlier.
MSN Search came in third with 12.5 percent, while AOL was next with 5.5 percent. Both My Way Search and Ask Jeeves Search had 1.8 percent.
