Engineering Veteran Joins WebEx as New Vice President of Communication Services Engineering

SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- WebEx Communications, Inc. , the Web communications services leader, today announced that engineering executive Stanford Au has joined the company as the vice president of Communication Services Engineering. Au has more than 20 years of senior-level engineering experience at technology companies including Virage, Kiva, Apple, Sun and HP. As senior vice president at Virage, Au led development of multiple new video and rich media communications products and defined a new media delivery architecture. At Kiva, Au was responsible for creating strategic integration partnerships for the Kiva Enterprise Server, including partnerships with IBM, SAP and PeopleSoft. Prior to Kiva, Au managed multiple operating system development programs and projects at Apple, Sun and HP.
