PITTSBURGH, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Four Rivers Software Systems, Inc., the provider of TMS, the leading maintenance management software (EAM/CMMS) system for the healthcare industry, announced today that TMS is now installed and in use at over 1,000 healthcare facilities in the US.
TMS (Total Maintenance System(R)) has evolved from a DOS based application in 1990 to a state-of-the art family of products that includes both LAN-based and Web-based versions. In 1995, Four Rivers Software made the US healthcare market the primary focus for TMS. Over the last 10 years, this focus has resulted in a system and organization that are tailored to exactly meet the needs of biomed and facilities engineering departments in US hospitals.
With over 1,000 hospitals using TMS, it is the most widely installed product of its kind in the US healthcare market. Hospitals using TMS range in size from a 14-bed single-site facility to multi-site health systems with over 2,000 beds.
"We are proud that 1,000 healthcare facilities have placed their trust in TMS and Four Rivers. Our customers provide an important source of ideas for enhancements to TMS. Each additional customer makes the product stronger and more robust for all our customers. That makes TMS a very safe choice for healthcare," said Henry Wilde, CEO of Four Rivers.
