Microsoft Technology Centers Showcase the Manakoa System Controls Management Pack

About the Manakoa System Control (TM) Management Pack

SCMP is a security collection and reporting Management Pack that , in concert with MOM, audits key compliance controls within a network and aids organizations in their efforts to accurately report compliance with government regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley. By leveraging the Microsoft MOM collecting and reporting services, the SCMP provides detailed reporting on specific IT controls. It also provides templates that an organization can employ to develop event rules, alert notifications, and reporting in order to track internal auditing controls. The initial release of this Management Pack focuses on collecting IT system security events for Windows Servers in support of Sarbanes-Oxley's 404 reporting requirements.
