Ralph The Karate Kid Macchio is developing a drama about two runaway girls for the cable TV network aimed at teens, The N.
Macchio, who recently played a guest role on HBO's popular comedy, Entourage, has also been busy writing and directing for both the big and small screens, N said in a release.
Network Senior Vice President Amy Friedman said as a father and teen icon, Macchio truly understands how to tell meaningful stories to this audience.
The N, the nighttime network for teens, is a programming arm of MTV Networks. It is currently available from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m. in 44 million U.S. homes via cable, digital cable and satellite television.
