Relicore, Inc., the leading provider of automated, real-time application and server configuration management solutions, today announced that its Relicore Clarity product has received the Editor’s Choice award in Network Computing’s September 1, 2005 comparative review of application dependency mapping tools. The magazine evaluated Relicore Clarity alongside products from Cendura, Collation, nLayers, and BMC. Evaluation criteria included dependency mapping, change auditing, discovery process, reporting, administration, and price.

"Business service management (BSM) requires thorough knowledge of failure points within an application infrastructure. We tested five dependency mapping tools on our NWC Inc. network; Relicore Clarity’s was, well, clearly superior," stated Bruce Boardman, Network Computing Executive Editor/Technology. Elsewhere in the review, Relicore Clarity was praised for the process granularity of its dependency maps; its ability to clearly show systems, ports, applications, and processes communicating in real-time; the depth of its change tracking functionality; and flexible user interface views.

"Winning this Network Computing Editor’s Choice award is testimony to the value of Relicore Clarity’s truly automated, real-time approach to discovering custom and packaged applications, dynamically mapping their dependencies, and tracking configuration changes the moment they occur," said Tom Murphy, Vice President, Marketing with Relicore. "We pleased to have a publication as prestigious as Network Computing recognize us as best-in-class," continued Murphy.
