Naval-Warfare Systems Engineering Deal Awarded to SRC

Posted on: Wednesday, 31 August 2005, 18:00 CDT

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in Charleston, S.C., has awarded a $5.1 million contract to Scientific Research Corp. to provide systems engineering and other services, said company officials. The contract could be worth $27.5 million if all options are exercised.

Under the contract, SRC of Atlanta will provide systems engineering, software integration, configuration management and lifecycle management support and other services for various command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance programs and projects.

Work on the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract, which is structured in a performance-based fashion, is expected to be completed by August 2006, or by August 2010 with the options.
