HK airport named regional "Most Friendly Airport for Cargo"
HONG KONG, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong International Airport has been named the "Most Friendly Airport for Cargo," announced Hong Kong Airport Authority on Wednesday.
The Federation of Asia Pacific Aircargo Associations says it excels in "user-friendliness and cargo ground handling systems".
The Airport Authority, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals and Asia Airfreight Terminal received Wednesday awards from the Hong Kong Association of Freight Forwarding Logistics, a federation member.
The authority's Chief Executive Officer David Pang welcomed the award, saying it acknowledges the concerted efforts of cargo terminal operators, airlines, ramp handlers and the freight forwarding industry in service innovations and enhancements.
