Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC) today released an updated speaker roster for its new "Service Provider Summit" (www.serviceprovidersummit.com), debuting at INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO at the Los Angeles Convention Center next month (www.itexpo.com).
The conference, taking place October 24-27, features no less than eight tracks dedicated to educating service providers about profitably delivering VoIP services to customers worldwide.
Topics covered in the Service Provider Summit include:
IMS Open Source VoIP Security IPTV Security/Surveillance over IP VoIP Peering e911/Regulation & Taxation Peer-to-Peer Telephony VoIP Traffic Management WiFi/Wireless Telephony Peer-to-Peer VoIP Consumer VoIP Marketing Session Border Controllers Security in the VoIP Network Number Porting/ENUM SIP Triple Play Conferencing & Collaboration Dual Mode MobilityAccording to Rich Tehrani, TMC president and conference chairman, service providers perhaps more than any other group need education about the opportunities and pitfalls of delivering new VoIP services.
"As VoIP has exploded over the past 18 months, service providers have been in a race to bring products to market. Along the way, there are regulatory issues like E-911 to deal with. Plus, new opportunities like IMS and IPTV have emerged in the past several months further complicating the field for service providers seeking to differentiate themselves. As in any nascent market, the savvy, educated player can get an insurmountable head start on their competitors," said Tehrani.
He added, "You won't find a more complete service provider education anywhere than the upcoming INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference & EXPO at the LA Convention Center. We've created a venue where carriers can gather to learn and network and become fully prepared to seize the VoIP opportunity in front of them."
Registration for the show is now open. Anyone interested may register by visiting http://www.itexpo.com. Very limited booth space remains as well. Vendors interested in exhibiting at the show should contact Dave Rodriguez right away at 203-852-6800, ext. 146. Or send e-mail to drodriguez@tmcnet.com.
