Defence Minister Says Iran Should Build Jets

Tehran, 7 September: The defence minister has praised the achievements and capabilities of his ministry in aviation industries, saying: We should build jets.
According to the Defence Publicity of the Defence Ministry, Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said: Following our negotiations with the Ministry of Roads and Transportation, that ministry has agreed to use Defence Ministry's capabilities in reparation, renovation and reconstruction of its aviation fleet.
Speaking at the introduction ceremony for the new managing director of Iran's Aviation Industries Organization, he said: We should have indigenous know-how for building helicopters as well and make enough helicopters to meet the domestic demand.
