AMSTERDAM, Netherlands and ASHBURN, Va., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- IBC CONFERENCE -- MCI, Inc. today announced a first-of-its-kind hosted digital media solution that enables companies to efficiently manage, edit and securely distribute digital media content. MCI's new ICF Media Platform Hosted Edition builds on the proven capabilities of the ICF Media Platform family by adding hosting, IP and security offerings from MCI.
The new service is aimed at media and entertainment companies with digital content production and distribution needs. Using the ICF Media Platform workflow capabilities, the solution can be tailored to customer needs, including digital content aggregation and syndication to next-generation Internet Protocol TV (IPTV), broadband TV and mobile video platforms; remote rough-editing; content logging; broadcast archiving and digital asset management; as well as digital dailies.
