JNetDirect Acquires Software Quality Leader, Vanward Technologies

JNetDirect Incorporated, the software company for expert developers, today announced the acquisition of Vanward Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of software quality assurance products and services based in Leesburg, VA. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Burke Cox, CEO of JNetDirect, said, "Vanward's services and the Convergence quality assurance dashboard package compliments JNetDirect's core strategy of providing the best tools, components and services to expert developers in the software industry."
Cox also announced that Vanward's CEO and Founder, Andrew J. Glover, will join JNetDirect as the Company's Chief Technology Officer and as a member of JNetDirect's Board of Directors.
"Andy is a recognized leader in the software testing community and we are excited about the new services and products he and his team are bringing to our Company," added Cox. Glover recently co-authored "Java Testing Patterns" and is a frequent speaker on software quality practices.
Vanward Technologies recently released Convergence(TM), a quality assurance dashboard that enables tracking of application quality early in the software development life-cycle. The product manages multiple data inputs (unit testing, code growth, code coverage, defects, code size, complexity and coupling) to assist software managers, architects, and developers in uncovering development practices that impair software quality.
Vanward's services business addresses software quality with testing strategies and frameworks, metric analysis and correlations, and continuous integration techniques that enables monitoring of code quality early and continuously throughout the software development life-cycle.
