ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 29, 2003--Hitachi Telecom (USA), Inc. and Digital Speech Systems, Inc. announced today the signing of a Sales Agreement effective December 19, 2003. Hitachi Telecom will offer its customers WinInn Series Voice Mail systems manufactured by Digital Speech. The systems combine the latest voice processing technology with numerous features specific to Hospitality and are fully compliant with Hitachi Telecom's WelCOMM software. The WinInn Series also offers offloading of wakeup calls to the PBX through a dedicated serial port and scheduled reports, as well as a DID server for Extended Stay hotels. WinInn systems support up to 25 languages, selectable by Auto Attendant or mailbox.
WinInn systems' capacity range from 4 to 16 ports and 1,100 hours of voice storage. The systems are highly reliable and require minimal maintenance. A secondary redundant drive provided with the system automatically copies databases, voice message files and greetings from the primary drive. This allows the system to continue operating without downtime or loss of data, even if one of the drives should fail.
"The WinInn Series is an exceptional product and, as a company, Digital Speech provides outstanding service and support," commented Joe Boeckel, vice president PBX Marketing and Sales. "A friendly user interface and robust, feature-rich performance make WinInn a strong addition to our HCX5000 product line."
This agreement further positions both Hitachi Telecom and Digital Speech for continued growth and success. For more information, please contact Carol Duran of Hitachi Telecom at 1-800-446-8820.
