Some New Shows Get an Early Start
Very clever, those folks at Fox. They broke out their best new drama, “Prison Break,” a full two weeks before anyone else got going, then saw it win its time slot in the 18-to-49 age group the first time out.
The Aug. 29 premiere, a two-hour special, was followed by an episode called “Cell Test” in the series’ regular slot, 8 p.m. Monday. Tonight, giving its precocious kid another boost, Fox will repeat “Cell Test” at 7 p.m., with another episode, “Cute Poison,” at 8 p.m.
Last week, Fox introduced a second drama, “Reunion,” Thursday.
Here’s the schedule for the other network dramas premiering within the next month. Watch for reviews on the premiere dates in the Cue section.
