Fonix Telecom, a subsidiary of Fonix Corp. (OTCBB: FNIX), an integrated telecommunications provider, today announced S&S Team Sports, an Atlanta-based sports apparel company, as a new Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) business customer.

S&S Team Sports has signed an agreement with Fonix Telecom as a small business user of VoIP and will use Fonix Fone(TM) to stay in touch with their growing number of sports apparel stores.

“Fonix Fone enables me to stay in control of my expanding business,” said Becky Snider, owner of S&S Team Sports. “With find-me-follow-me, I am able to stay on top of my day-to-day business across all my store locations without being restricted to any physical location. Fonix Fone is easy to use. I don’t have to train my staff on how to use a complicated phone system. Fonix Telecom’s service is flexible. If I want to make changes to my service, I don’t call the company, I simply go online, access my account and make the change.

“As a small business owner, cost and scalability are an important factor in determining what telecom solutions meet my business needs. I’m on a limited budget and need a phone service that can grow with me. Fonix Fone gave me an alternative to upfront PBX capital expense and ongoing maintenance costs.

“Also, as my business expands, I’m constantly utilizing physical space for my inventory storage needs. With Fonix Fone, I have all the functionality of a PBX without having to store physical PBX equipment on my premises. Fonix Telecom’s VoIP solution met all the conditions I was looking for as a small business owner; I can’t imagine having any other solution.”

“We are delighted to be working with S&S Team Sports and other companies that have a definite need for a VoIP solution,” said Dale Smith, senior vice president and general manager, Fonix Telecom. “We are finding that our Fonix Fone solutions meet the communication needs of not only small businesses, but large to enterprise businesses within aerospace/defense, manufacturing, healthcare and finance/real estate industries. Our expanding customer list further strengthens our position as a leading telecom provider of flexible, innovative services.”
