Apriso(R) Corporation Names Software Industry Veterans to Newly Created Executive Posts

Posted on: Tuesday, 13 September 2005, 09:00 CDT

Apriso(R) Corporation, the global leader in real-time solutions for supply network operations, has named three software industry veterans to newly created executive posts, the company announced today. Each was selected based upon their proven ability to create world-class, revenue-generating sales and partnership programs for their organizations.

Chris Brecher has been named executive vice president, worldwide field operations, and will oversee Apriso's global sales organization. He will be responsible for establishing FlexNet(TM), the company's flagship software product, in vertical markets, establishing business relationships with systems integrators and other partners, and growing overall sales revenues, both from new business and among Apriso's existing customer base. In addition, Brecher will have responsibility for Apriso's business units in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Brecher served as global account director with SAP's retail solutions business 1998-2000, a role in which he helped grow annual revenues from $5 million to $85 million in 24 months, and the customer base by 500 percent. He has also held executive and management positions with Siebel Systems, Lawson Software and GERS. A certified public accountant, Brecher earned his bachelor of science degree from Colorado State University and his master of business administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Mark Del Grande has been appointed vice president of global alliances, and will be responsible for establishing strategic business partnerships with software vendors whose products complement Apriso's. Prior to joining the company, Del Grande served in a number of management and executive positions with SAP America, working with the Big 5 consulting firms, including vice president of global supply chain management alliances and PwC Alliances.

More recently, he was a systems integrator director focused on analytic applications and IBM Global Services with Business Objects, publisher of Crystal Reports. In that role he developed business plans and marketing strategies with three of the Big 5 partners for America and EMEA to stimulate new business development revenue and partner practice growth in North America. Del Grande earned his bachelor's degree from Widener University in Chester, Pa.

Don VanderBeke has been named senior vice president, services & support, and chief customer officer at Apriso managing the team of professionals that install, customize and maintain Apriso products at customer sites. VanderBeke most recently served as executive vice president and chief customer officer at GERS, a role in which his team achieved a client retention rate of 99 percent for six consecutive years, and sustained customer satisfaction levels of 4.84 on a 5.0 scale.

Prior to joining GERS in 1998, VanderBeke held executive posts with IBM, Sterling Software, NDC and Dun & Bradstreet Software.

"Chris, Mark and Don bring proven experience and a record of success to these newly-created positions," said Jim Henderson, chief executive officer, Apriso. "Their drive to build industry-leading sales and partner programs and exceptional customer service, coupled with their combined industry experience, will be vital to these critical leadership positions."

Brecher, Del Grande and VanderBeke have assumed their new roles.
