Federal Hill Communications, a leading content solutions provider for digital entertainment platforms worldwide, today announced an agreement with CinemaNow, Inc., to distribute World Wide Entertainment's extreme sports clips on a non-exclusive basis via the CinemaNow Web site (www.cinemanow.com).
CinemaNow users will be able to access World Wide Entertainment's action-packed programming on a rental, subscription or download-to-own basis. As part of the agreement all videos are available in multiple formats that can be played back on traditional PCs and laptops as well as Microsoft's Windows Mobile-based devices including the Portable Media Centers and select Smartphones.
Programming clips available to CinemaNow under this deal include mind-blowing snowboard aerials and ski stunts, wild ocean windsurfing, motorbike madness, skateboarding radical ramps, skydive acrobatics, jet-ski surfing, BMX stunts, spectacular base-jumping, extreme kayaking, chopper bungy, heli-board riding, fire stunt skiing, and much more.
"As CinemaNow continues to expand its leadership role in offering mobile video-on-demand, we are always looking for compelling content that extend beyond the PC and on to the TV or portable devices," said Eric Stein, director of acquisitions for CinemaNow. "We believe that these extreme sports clips from Federal Hill and Worldwide Entertainment are the perfect fit for our website and portable media offerings and demonstrate the value of niche content."
"Mobile entertainment and video-on-demand (VOD) are opening new avenues in which to reach consumers with compelling content. As consumers demand more personalized mobile and VOD content selections, the importance of establishing a robust offering is imperative to differentiating one mobile service or VOD provider from another. Our expertise is content and we offer mobile and VOD clients the added benefits of having a content partner in place who is attuned with market trends, has direct relationships with the premier content suppliers worldwide, and can assist them in enriching their content offerings with exclusive niche programming genres well-suited for mobile or VOD platforms whether branded or not," said, Bethany Gorfine, President and CEO of Federal Hill Communications.
"Through this exciting partnership, fans of the extreme sports will be able to access this edgy content virtually anytime, anywhere," said Lucas Bertrand, Director, MoMedia International - World Wide Entertainment's mobile arm. "This is the tip of the iceberg considering World Wide Entertainment's vast content library, most of which is available for mobile."
