IPC Names New Vice President of Corporate Communications; Stephanie Willerton Joins Trading Technology Leader

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 11, 2003--Stephanie Willerton has joined IPC Information Systems, the leading provider of trading floor solutions to the financial community, to direct the firm's corporate communications. Willerton, who has more than 12 years of corporate communications and public affairs experience, joins IPC from Equant, a global data communications company, where she was vice president of corporate public relations.

"Stephanie's experience spanning corporate communications, strategic market positioning, and international communications - and her depth of technology expertise are a perfect complement to our growth objectives," said Lance Boxer, chief executive officer of IPC. Willerton has developed strategic positioning and communications programs for leading technology and telecommunications companies in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Prior to joining Equant, she directed the Convergence Practice at Blanc & Otus, a Hill and Knowlton technology brand, managing clients such as Nortel Networks and Concert.

Prior to joining Blanc & Otus, Willerton was a member of Ketchum's Corporate practice in Munich, Germany and Washington, D.C., focused on the MCI business. Previously she held communications positions for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein and former U.S. Education Secretary Richard W. Riley. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
