Intel Names Thomas M. Kilroy to Co-Lead Digital Enterprise Group

Intel Corporation announced today that Thomas M. Kilroy has been named co-general manager of its Digital Enterprise Group. In addition, the company said its board has elected Kilroy to the position of corporate vice president.
In his new role, Kilroy, a 15-year Intel veteran, will co-manage the Digital Enterprise Group along with Senior Vice President Pat Gelsinger, who is currently general manager of the unit. The Digital Enterprise Group develops computing and communications infrastructure platforms for end-to-end solutions in business.
Kilroy was most recently vice president of the Sales and Marketing Group and co-president of Intel Americas, Inc., responsible for all sales and marketing activities in North America and South America. Previously he was general manager of the communications sales organization within the Sales and Marketing Group. Before that he led the Reseller Channel organization. Kilroy joined Intel in 1990 after holding sales and channel management positions with Burroughs Corporation and Wang Laboratories.
