KDS USA Extends Radius Line-Up with Affordable, Ultra-Thin 17-Inch LCD Monitor

Flat-Panel Monitor Combines Streamline Design with Crisp, Vibrant Images

GARDEN GROVE, Calif., Oct. 21, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- KDS USA, a leading provider of monitors and computer peripherals, today introduced a 17-inch addition to its Radius flat-panel display line-up. Blending practical user functionality with the latest in liquid crystal display (LCD) viewing technology, the Rad-7bk - currently available for $399 - is ideal for consumer, office and computer-aided design (CAD) applications.

Touting a contemporary black, ultra-thin, 2-inch flat-panel design, the Rad-7bk (17-inch viewable screen) delivers wide-angle viewing while conserving half the desktop space compared to a comparable CRT model. Consumers may save additional desktop space via the display's wall-mountable design.

By combining a robust 1280 x 1024 resolution rate with a sharp 0.264mm pixel pitch and 16.7-million displayable colors, the KDS USA Rad-7bk affords users crisp, vibrant images. A rapid 25-millisecond response time also dramatically reduces "ghosting" or blurring of images during viewing.

KDS USA new display is backed by a three-year limited parts and labor warranty in addition to the innovative KDS Advanced Replacement Expressed Service (KARES) program. Through this program, KDS USA replaces a customer's defective product with another monitor in advance of receiving the item.
