Veraz Networks Launches Messaging Solution for Service Providers to Offer Subscribers Greater Control; Solution Includes Voice, SMS, and Unified Messaging Options Across Multiple Devices

Veraz Networks announced its new Veraz Messaging Solution (VMS) that enables service providers to offer their subscribers a range of services from basic voice messaging to advanced, real-time multimedia messaging. VMS lets subscribers access, retrieve and manage all their messages whether voice, fax, e-mail, and video from a single mailbox using a VoIP wireline or mobile phone, a PC, or a wireless device. This integrated solution allows service providers to easily differentiate and customize their service offerings to subscribers, while providing them with greater control.
VMS is an integrated, pre-tested messaging solution bundle that is based on Veraz's ControlSwitch softswitch and service delivery platform as well as messaging servers and media servers from 3rd parties. VMS is the latest solution to be introduced in Veraz's Any IP Enhanced Applications Solutions family, which enables interactions across any application, any network and any device. VMS can be used together with any Veraz Subscriber Service Solution or Veraz Network Switching Solution that incorporates the I-Gate 4000 family of media gateways.
Due to the modular architecture of VMS, service providers can offer comprehensive messaging services that scales to millions of users. It allows them to easily serve new global locations, as the Veraz solution can be hosted at a central IP location and then accessed and delivered to any device worldwide. The SIP-based application server supports C7, PRI, and CAS TDM signaling variants plus IP signaling protocols such as SIP, H.323 for access to any network. The solution also supports device control and signaling protocols such as SIP, H.323, MGCP, H.248, HTML, WML, CHTML, XHTML, DHTML, and XML to cover a wide variety of end user fixed, broadband IP, and mobile devices.
"We believe that our messaging solution is uniquely designed to respond to the needs of today's customers," said Douglas Sabella, president and CEO of Veraz Networks. "As subscribers are demanding additional control over their messages and the convenience that comes from access through any device, Veraz is poised to play a significant role in enabling services providers to fulfill the demand for unified messaging services."
At Fall VON 2005, Veraz Networks will be demonstrating the capability of its messaging solution at the Veraz Booth #1233. The VMS rollout is starting now.
