A BOY hanged himself after watching a TV magician escape from a noose.
Michael Willey, 16, used a rope attached to gym equipment at his home weeks after the Sky TV show Undercover Magic.
He was found by his foster dad Joseph Ramsey.
Pc Brian Wood told the Doncaster, South Yorks, inquest: “Michael had watched a programme showing the secrets and tricks of a magician. This included getting out of a hanging situation.”
Coroner Stanley Hooper said: ” It may be he was experimenting having seen a TV programme.”
Verdict: Open
