XO Communications Lands $7 Million Pact for Data, Voice Services

Sep. 21--XO Communications on Monday said it has won a $7 million, five-year contract to provide data and voice services to a third party that will provide it to 6,300 Las Vegas apartments owned by Olen Residential.
XO will provide telecommunication services to Addison, Texas-based MinolConnect, a new division of Minol International, and MinolConnect will bill and provide customer service to Olen apartment tenants.
Specifically, XO will provide local, long distance, high-speed Internet connection, television and video services.
Ron Scott, XO group president, said the program is opening a new market for XO.
